Your Kent Wedding - Mar/Apr 2020 (Issue 89)

I wore a Watters design, Yocelyn , which I found at a trunk show. I was looking for something different, with colour, and this dress was perfect. It had a blush pink underlay with floral embroidery and horseshoe layers. Apparently, I was the first person to buy the dress in the UK. Our floral arrangements contained almost 20 varieties including clematis, anemone, stephanotis, roses, hellebore, lisianthus, tulips, hyacinth, and waxflower. The groomsmen were dressed in navy suits with blush pink ties to complement the bridesmaids’ dresses. I accessorised with a custom-made hair vine, cathedral-length veil and bright Louboutin shoes. Stephen’s aim was to stand out more than me. He wore a bespoke burgundy suit from Tailor Made. It had a safari-themed lining, which was his favourite part. 44
