Your Hampshire and Dorset Wedding - Page number 33 - May/June 2021 (Issue 86)

The place names were tags with heart-shaped cut outs. They were stamped with guests’ names and finished with lace bows. We opted for just numbers in silver frames for the tables. We were originally going to have eight, but had to cut it to just four due to COVID restrictions. Our table plan was displayed in a white frame decorated with a garland of white roses and eucalyptus. Our incredible chocolate cake was covered in white icing and silver leaf, with a Mr & Mrs Ball silver topper. The ca ke pops were flavoured with lemon and decorated in blue, which suited o ur theme perfectly Martin looked dashing in his royal blue check suit. He and his groomsmen all wore matching pale blue ties and buttonholes of white avalanche roses with gypsophila. We’d planned for the bridesmaids to wear pale blue Bardot-neck skater dresses. But since it wasn’t possible for them all to attend, we let them wear whatever they wanted. We’re planning a big get-together for later in the year where hopefully our full wedding party will be able to wear the outfits we’d originally intended. REAL WEDDING 33
