Your Herts and Beds Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 81)

MEMORABLE MOMENTS After the all-important vows Cherelle and Steven wanted to make sure their guests had a great time and hired a magician, DJ and had sparklers for later in the evening. “It all went down very well!” recalls Cherelle. “People had to be asked to get off of the dancefloor at the end of the night!” On the day, Steven was excited more than nervous although they certainly kicked in when he was about to make his speech. “I felt like we were in a crazy bubble,” adds Cherelle. With so much to enjoy from the food to the sparkler tunnel it’s hard to pick a specific memorable moment but for the groom: “It was when I saw Cherelle in the dress for the first time, that was a standout moment!” shares Steven. “The sparkler tunnel was a bit nerve- wracking, it took so long for them to light!” Cherelle adds, “I remember holding Steven’s hand as I got to the front, our first dance and Steven spinning me around so many times, the speeches from my mum and dad, best friend and Steven were incredibly touching.” Wedding days are long affairs where so much can happen, and a particularly funny story the pair share from their day came from their photographer James Polley. “James brought a Drake mask for Steven, he knew he loved him, and he had a photo shoot in the mask!” “Everyone went above and beyond from friends and family to the caterers, the venue, the photographer and videographer,” recalls Cherelle.
