Your Herts and Beds Wedding - February/March 2024 (Issue 102)

All the vendors made the day extra special, ensuring everything ran on time and smoothly. We both felt a combination of nervousness, excitement and happiness that the day was finally here. A lot went into planning the year before, and there was a lot of anticipation for the day. We mostly looked forward to seeing each other and having the best day. The speeches were incredible! My bridesmaids, dad, James’s twin Nick and his own speech were all amazing, emotional and funny. The ceremonies, in particular the traditional ceremony, stood out the most to us! The amazing dancers in our procession were a very memorable moment. Our vows to each other in the civil ceremony stood out too. We had a mini-moon to Florence and Pisa in Italy after the wedding for six days – it was terrific! We enjoyed walking, exploring, eating great food and enjoying the culture. A highlight was watching the sun set over Florence from the Piazzale Michelangelo.
