Your Herts and Beds Wedding - February/March 2024 (Issue 102)

We had so many emotions. It was tough with the news we had from Paddy’s diagnosis, but everyone made the wedding so wonderful and special. We were so happy to have all our friends and family in one place, celebrating life and our love for one another; it was the most surreal feeling imaginable. We had the most incredible DJ, Ian, who managed the whole day and evening while keeping everyone happy with many games and music. He was a tremendous character with so much light and energy. Everyone said how wonderful he was, and I would 100 per cent recommend him to anyone. We both felt excited, emotional and happy! I had the biggest smile but tears, knowing our life together wouldn’t be easy. But I knew I was marrying my best friend and soul mate no matter what – I couldn’t hold in the love and happiness I felt when I saw him. Paddy said I looked so beautiful and was so happy I had turned up! Paddy wore a light grey suit with a navy blue tie to match the bridesmaids. The father-of-the-groom and the best man wore matching suits, brown shoes and brown belts – they were a very handsome bunch! I wore a beautiful white dress with a diamond buckle and felt absolutely stunning! I looked and felt like a princess, everyone was so blown away. REAL WEDDINGS 37
