We had a three-tier, semi-naked wedding cake decorated with berries and gypsophila. It featured a layer of vanilla with buttercream which is my favourite, a layer of chocolate at the bottom (Rob’s favourite), and a lemon layer on the top which is our son, William’s, favourite. “My Uncle John gave me away and went above and beyond to keep me calm before the wedding and also after it. My mum’s speech was also pretty special. It showed how she has loved and supported me no matter what. Everyone loved the best men’s speech – we had two best men and it’s very tricky to do a speech as a double act but they pulled it off perfectly and made everyone laugh.
