Your Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Wedding- April/May 2020 (Issue 20)

We both love the great outdoors so agreed that we wanted to get married in a barn. We visited quite a few beforehand but when I walked down the steps into The Barn at Upcote, I knew that was the entrance I wanted to make! Our theme was to bring the outside in, keeping things rustic and informal and working with a seasonal colour palette. The registrars at the Gloucestershire Registration Service were so kind and supportive. They made the ceremony really special. We decided to have a long top table with 15 seats and round tables seating between eight and 12 guests. This meant all of our different groups of friends and family could sit together which everyone loved. Our table names were inspired by the places that we have visited together over the past 12 years. We had fun polaroid pictures of us at each of the locations with the name of the place written on each one. 28
