Your East Midlands Wedding - October/November 2020 (Issue 40)

INTIMATE WEDDINGS 51 STYLE IT OUT Your wedding day is all about celebrating the love you share for each other. If you want to be married and are happy to stick with a smaller guest list, then go for it! You will need to be strict when picking your nearest and dearest! Only invite either immediate family or very close friends and people who you couldn’t imagine not being there. Please don’t feel bad for not being able to invite everyone; they’ll need to understand the current situation.  Remember that people may still feel vulnerable; they may say no and don’t take this personally! Make sure you have space between your tables, don’t have the maximum number of guests on each table and offer extras such as hand sanitiser to help people feel comfortable around others.  Hannah Rose | Complete Rose Events www.completeroseevents.co.uk My advice for couples who are looking to plan an intimate wedding would be to find a venue that offers exclusive use. The space will need to make your wedding feel special and look out for ones that only hold one wedding per weekend. Look for somewhere that’s going to add character and enchant your guests while creating the perfect backdrop for wedding images. You want to make sure that the space holds all guests comfortably and there’s a right balance of indoor and outdoor spaces.  Finish the evening off with lovely accommodation for your nearest and dearest at the same property for that extra special touch.  Katie Christian | No42 Kegworth House www.kegworthhouse.co.uk A DAY TO REMEMBER
