Your East Midlands Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 39)

My mother handmade the bridesmaid dresses. Jamie wore a grey suit with a checked grey and ivory waistcoat, brown brogues and an orange cravat. We were nervous at first on the day, but then felt happy and emotional. In the end, we felt complete. We had beautifully designed display chalkboards for outside the reception room. 43 We had a DJ in the evening who played music, which the crowd reacted well to – he kept us dancing all night. My dress was called Etta and was the first dress I tried on and I loved it instantly! The style made me feel both comfortable and confident. I was so happy, I felt like the best version of myself. A funny moment from the day was when we broke the knife that we were cutting the cake with! Not because of the cake I’d like to add! REAL WEDDING
