I wanted a traditional, classy wedding dress that also made me feel like a princess. Rich wore a Marc Darcy blue suit with a tweed waistcoat and floral tie. On the day, we felt excited, happy and possibly a little overwhelmed. It still makes me tearful thinking back to how amazing it was! Our first dance came together after much practice; we had six lessons beforehand and chose a Disney song. We had five groomsmen who wore Marc Darcy three-piece suits to match Rich’s and their ties and cufflinks matched the bridesmaids’ dresses. I had six bridesmaids in total who wore pastel colours; two wore yellow, two had blue and the others wore pink. The dresses were long and floaty, perfect for a spring or summer wedding. The speeches were one of the most special parts of the day. Our top tip would be to try and not worry about all of the little things that may go wrong, the only thing that matters is that you’re marrying the one you love. People don’t notice when things don’t go to plan! 38
