Your East Midlands Wedding - June/July 2020 (Issue 38)

With me being Scottish we had a sole bagpiper that played us out of the ceremony and played to the guests whilst the formal photographs were being taken. Our dog Rio was also brought to the wedding after the ceremony for some photos and to see us, which was one of the highlights! I loved the DJ we had for the reception. Cory wore a three-piece Marc Darcy navy blue suit. We changed his waistcoat to one that was cream with a blue check to make him stand out from the groomsmen. 35 We had a pianist playing the entrance music for the ceremony, the signing of the registers and as background music for the wedding breakfast. I wore a princess-style dress. When I tried it on my mum cried and it just felt like the right style for me – it was simple yet elegant. I wore a veil and tiara, which set the dress of perfectly, and a single bracelet and stud earrings. Our photographer was excellent, nothing was too much trouble! He made everyone feel at ease and the lengths he will go to for that perfect shot is incredible. REAL WEDDINGS
