Our top tip from the day would be to enjoy every minute; it really does go as quickly as everyone tells you. Enjoy the planning and don’t stress over the details – everything works out and you’ll miss the planning when it is over – even if it doesn’t seem like that at the time! We were both excited but nervous to begin with but we both relaxed as soon as the ceremony started. The dancefloor was full all evening but then the wine had been flowing all day! A memorable moment was when we were sitting at dinner and looking around the room together realising we couldn’t hear the (carefully planned) dinner playlist because the room was full of talking and laughter from each table! We knew at that point we couldn’t have asked for anything more! 30
