The newer side of the building is lined with French doors providing access to eight acres of pristine, attended gardens. These award-winning gardens are beautifully maintained throughout the year, which means couples can take advantage of this stunning photo backdrop whatever the season. The main lawn offers a comfortable space to sit and enjoy the day in idyllic scenery.  Ceremonies take place in multiple spaces at this venue; The Oak Panel Room is the perfect intimate space for weddings in more of a traditional room in the original part of the building, which allows for 40 loved ones. This room is full of character with a charming old fireplace. For a larger and more modern room for 180 guests, The Goodacre Suite features neutral décor that captures an abundance of natural light from its French doors leading out onto the gardens. Lastly, The Gazebo in the romantic gardens is a beautiful, private outdoor space for up to 180 people. In the evening, The Oak Panel Room and The Goodacre Suite transforms into a reception space. When couples book the venue, they’ll receive an exclusive free wedding taster meal and a night’s stay in the Honeymoon Suite on the night of the wedding.  Please note that the Quorn Grange Hotel has stunning gardens that can accommodate marquees and other outdoor functions upon request, and the chef and kitchen team can provide delicious hog roasts and barbeques. Housing a collection of artefacts and exhibits, it’s an inspiring backdrop to the dreams of a life together, future journeys and place among the stars. The Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium provides an awe-inspiring setting for a wedding and takes guests on a voyage to the edges of the universe in a spectacular 360 degree cinematic experience. The Rocket Tower and Space Race offer a glimpse of times past and hopes of fantastical futures, while six space-themed galleries excite and inspire with stunning imagery and hands-on exhibits. The National Space Centre boasts a variety of romantic locations for a civil ceremony, with The Sir Patrick Moore Planetarium providing a breathtaking backdrop. Excite and inspire loved ones by hosting a wedding reception amongst artefacts and exhibits in the space-themed galleries. When the venue’s hired for the evening celebration, the doors are closed to the public to give exclusive-use. The galleries can seat between 50-300 guests for a formal sit-down wedding breakfast and up to 500 guests for a more informal celebration. There are many menus and options available with all of the catering prepared on-site by the team of chefs using locally sourced ingredients to create a bespoke menu.
