It was so windy at the church and our marriage certificate blew away when we opened the car door! The driver of the car actually scaled the rocks outside the church to get it back! For catering we opted for canapés, a three-course wedding breakfast and, in the evening, we had pork cobs and chips! On the day we were just unbelievably happy, we thought we might be teary or emotional but it was such a happy day and we were grinning from ear to ear. Our photographer is a friend of Ian’s from school and he captured such wonderful images of the day, which we’ll treasure forever. Our tip would be to just enjoy it – everything goes so quickly! Book the suppliers that are important to you first – for us that was the photographer, florist, hair and make-up artist. 50
