She was also a genuinely lovely person, who was a pleasure to be around. I wanted to keep my look natural and relaxed so opted for a waterfall braid with some curls and a sprig of gypsophila above my veil. Dave and his groomsman looked very handsome in dark blue suits with grey tweed waistcoats and sage green ties and pocket squares. My female bridesmaids wore floor-length sage green dresses with the lace bodice, which looked great in the barn setting. My bridesman, Andy, wore a similar suit to the groomsmen but with a sage green shirt so everyone could tell he was Team Bride! My four flowergirls wore a knee-length A-line satin dress with an added green belt to match the bridesmaids. They all loved their rose-gold sandals, which complemented the copper colour scheme beautifully. In the run-up to the wedding, I enjoyed buying gifts for the bridal party so they all had a piece of rose-gold jewellery to wear on the day, along with some sweets and prosecco to enjoy while getting ready. 48
