Your East Midlands Wedding - Dec/Jan 2019 (Issue 35)

BIG-DAY TRANSPORT Cloud Nine Classic Weddings is celebrating multiple milestones this coming year. April will be the company’s 10 th anniversary in Nottingham, while Aghy is a rare 1933 Armstrong Siddeley which is celebrating its 86 th year and a full 50 years since being rescued from a Shropshire barn and restored. Aghy is now one of six survivors of this model in the UK. The second oldest at the company is Kirby, a 1934 Daimler Fifteen and between these two cars, Cloud Nine has served the needs of more than a thousand brides all over the Midlands and the north. Finally, Lavignia, a Daimler DS420 Limousine turns 50 this year. The fleet, recognisable by classic black and cream livery are all British and were amassed as a wedding car collection 20 years ago by a photographer now living in the U.S. To help Cloud Nine Classic Weddings celebrate, the company’s looking to find old photos dating back before it’s tenure in Nottingham and is asking for anyone with a copy to get in touch.
