Your East Midlands Wedding - Jun/Jul 2019 (Issue 32)

I love to read and so we used old books as centrepieces with flowers in milk jugs placed on top. Joe bought me a first edition book for our first Christmas as a couple and we used this one on our top table. To fit in with the vintage theme, we placed tea cups filled with blooms on the tables. We used the names of cats we’ve had as our table names and placed them on old vinyl records. This reflected the fact that we both love music and Joe’s an audio engineer. My bridal party and I arrived at the venue in two Daimler Limousines that went with our vintage theme. We’re both environmentally conscious so we had seed packets as our favours that are great for bees that people could have as a memory of our day. Our table plan was designed around images of our cats. We didn’t have a top table as we wanted to all be able to talk to each other instead of sitting in a line. I made some bunting to go around the venue, which was in our colour scheme and included images of loved ones. REAL WEDDINGS 51
