I play netball and our team always finds space to create a human pyramid wherever we go, although this time John was involved too! When Fairytale of New York played everyone rushed on to the dancefloor and as the chorus started, the snow machine blasted out, creating the most amazing memory, surrounded by all our loved ones dancing and enjoying themselves. Our cake of cheese was used as part of our reception food along with a selection of bread, oils, and cold meats. We’re both big food lovers and wanted our choices to reflect that! After the meal we had sparklers outside with Christmas party songs which provided some amazing photos. We also had the snow machine in action to get more fun shots! CARLA’S TOP TIP If you’re not a natural organiser, pick your suppliers wisely! The team we had led us through the whole process, so we could relax and enjoy the run-up knowing that they had us covered. Victoria at Elms Barn was the perfect wedding planner, making sure we kept on track and the whole day ran smoothly. 36
