Your East Anglian Wedding - February/March 2021 (Issue 47)

We had seven tables, each named after one of Father Christmas’ reindeer with the top table named after Santa himself. The place cards were set in baubles and the table was dressed with candelabra decorated with our wedding flowers, gold twigs and berries. As favours we gave each guest a baby Christmas tree with sprigs of holly, wrapped in hessian sacks for safe keeping, most of which were taken home to be planted and are now growing nicely for future use! We kept everything traditional with shades of red, gold and green running through nearly all aspects of the wedding. Teena at Elms Barn created a stunning winter floral arch over the barn door and inside was dressed with candles and trailing ivy in the window recesses. Epic Events Hire dressed the barn with linen drapes and fairylights. There were the two of us and our six collective children on the top table. As a big blended family it was lovely to sit as a unit and celebrate us ‘officially’ coming together. REAL WEDDINGS 35 
