Your East Anglian Wedding - August/September 2020 (Issue 44)

We looked at a few venues but fell in love with The Granary Estates. The grounds were beautiful and the big barn for the reception had so much character. All the staff were incredibly friendly too. Shaun seemed much more relaxed than me. I felt relatively calm getting ready until I went into panic. Once the tears started they kept coming right up until we started saying our vows. It was such an emotional day. Shaun’s mum wrote a poem for us which his auntie read out at the ceremony and his step mum also did a reading we’d chosen. My Cece gown from Pure Brides wasn’t what I expected to choose, however I loved the detailing at the top and the belt around the middle. It also had the most beautiful train and I wore a veil underneath my bun too. I had a beautiful bouquet and my bridesmaids carried bunches of gypsophila. I had three pairs of shoes for the day, high, medium and low heels and I wore them all! Shaun and his groomsmen wore electric blue suits from Slaters. He had the back of his waistcoat altered with some material he chose specially. 44
