S ophie and Lee were friends for a couple of years before deciding that they might make a great couple. “We went on a double date with my best friend and her boyfriend at the time,” Sophie tells us. “ I loved his cute dimples and he liked the fact that I was a bit reserved!” The couple became engaged during a surprise proposal at their favourite spot, St Nicholas Chapel, located on a hill in St Ives in Cornwall during a weekend away. “Lee had been secretly planning it for four months,” Sophie tells us. “He had packed a bottle of champagne and suggested that we walk up to the chapel even though it was very windy and rainy. I was glad that I agreed to it because it led to such a romantic proposal!
