Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - September/October 2020 (Issue 27)

Being walked down the aisle by my grandpa George was very special for us both. He stole the moment when he apologised for being late as we walked through the barn doors! We encouraged our guests to take Insta-worthy pictures! “My grandpa had written his speech on the back of his betting slips which was hilarious!” - Holly The bespoke menu tailored for us by the head chef to include our favourite foods was created using ingredients sourced from the farm and the little amount that didn’t came from local suppliers. “All of our friends and family were on great form. We would love to live the day over and over again!” - Holly As our guests arrived, and during the ceremony, a local violinist and harpist duo played. Saying our vows and having Archie our dog with us for our photographs were moments that we’ll never forget. REAL WEDDINGS 35 We seated our guests at long rows of trestle tables. 
