Your Devon and Cornwall Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 26)

Our bridesmaids looked stunning in their floor-length pink pleated multi-way dresses which allowed them to style them how they wished. Laura and Charlotte wore theirs featuring a plunging neckline and Natalie wore hers with a high neck. We provided our guests with garden games to enjoy during the drinks reception and had a DJ playing in the evening. It was lovely to watch our guests making the most of the grounds and entertaining themselves, and seeing them all interact with each other during the wedding breakfast. We made sure that there wasn’t much waiting around on the day and that the drinks and food were in constant supply! Deer Park provided the catering using home-grown produce from their walled garden – it was all delicious! We chose menu choices that we liked, first and foremost, and the in-house chefs were more than happy to put together a bespoke menu for us aswell - they were amazing! I chose this lace Bardot-style maxi dress because as soon as I tried it on, I loved it! I’d already tried on plenty of designs in an array of bridal shops and boutiques and thought I was never going to find something that I liked, but as soon as I put this one on, I knew it was made for me.
