Your Cheshire and Merseyside Wedding - March/April 2024 (Issue 74)

The bottom layer of our three-tiered cake was a hexagonal Victoria sponge. It was iced in ivory with a navy blue tie-dye effect. The middle was a round, navy-iced, chocolate orange cake, and the top (which we saved for ourselves) was also round and ivory-coloured in sticky toffee pudding flavour. The cake topper was Lego Brickheadz of us as the bride and groom. Our floral arrangements featured champagne roses, thistles and navy blue berries, which all complemented our palette beautifully. Our centrepieces were tall flower trees supplied by Precious Things Floristry & Event Styling. We handmade the table plan, which included nine photo frames holding seating plans for each of the six tables and three photos of us. We had his and hers favourite sweets as our wedding favours. Mine were Skittles and Harry’s were Haribo Tangfastics. 41 REAL WEDDINGS
