Plan early.” 28 All of the food was excellent from the canapés to the evening buffet. We had steak and chips as the main course for our wedding breakfast, which was beautifully cooked, and not too heavy. Live band The Rush were fantastic, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The lead singer interacted with the guests and they provided the DJ set too, which included a saxophonist. All of our suppliers were excellent, but special mention has to go to Marry Me Films and Caroline White Photography. Both have extensive experience and made every stage of the planning process easy. I can’t recommend them highly enough. After the main reception ended, a select few guests made their way to the wine cellar, a more intimate Medieval-style room, where music played. The perfect end to the perfect day. We both felt nervous but excited. The day had taken so much planning, and we just wanted everyone to enjoy it. It would have been special to us regardless, as we were marrying the person we love. We spent three weeks travelling around Thailand for our honeymoon. The highlight was the Elephant Hills Jungle Camp and Elephant Sanctuary. It was a once in a lifetime trip that we both thoroughly enjoyed. “Our top tip? Plan together. Plan early.”
