An Essex Wedding - Jul/Aug 2019 (Issue 87)

Our photographer, Gemma Giorgio, was outstanding and made us feel so relaxed. She went above and beyond for us. Gemma suggested we jump in a golf buggy to head to different locations for our portraits. It was then that I nearly went through the front window as Michael accidentally slammed on the brakes! We still laugh about it now. A violinist performed while our friends and family arrived, and she did a rendition of Tale As Old As Time when I entered. When we left the ceremony, she played I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles as we’re both West Ham fans. At the reception, our awesome DJ got the party started and the night ended with everyone in a circle singing Young Forever by Jay-Z. Lauren’s top tip: Make sure you’re both involved in the planning. It can be hard work so it’s a good way to ease the pressure. 48
