Your Yorkshire Wedding - March/April 2022 (Issue 53)

I really liked how extensive the grounds were and thought it would be nice for the guests to enjoy. I wanted white flowers with lots of foliage. There was a private bridal room to get ready upstairs, a nice sitting room for a bit of quiet time – I even put some board games there. All of our décor was monochrome themed as I thought the guest’s outfits would be very colourful so I needed to add no more. The capacity was big enough for all our close friends and family but not too big that it was impersonal. We had three tiers of lemon, Victoria sponge and chocolate cake with buttercream icing made by my mother and decorations from Ivy Mae. 34
