Your Sussex Wedding - February/March 2022 (Issue 95)

From The Wedding People we hired the Annabel flower wall and social booth. We asked To Have and To Hire if they could hang the neon sign onto the flower wall, which they very kindly did. We opted for barbecue boards with roasted new potatoes, coleslaw and mixed salad. I really wanted the food to be something we all enjoy and would eat. I didn’t need to accessorise much as the dress was so beautiful. I wore my hair down in Hollywood waves with a big clip. I had an amazing veil adorned with small diamantés, which complemented the dress perfectly. The place names were individually cut out of gold-painted wood for each guest. While the table numbers were held by gold frames. We hired two restored Campervans to take myself, my bridesmaids and the mother-of-the-bride to the venue. My dress was Mildred by Rebecca Ingram. I found it on my first shopping trip. It was simple, but also had the most amazing beading on the top. I didn’t want anything that I’d have to be worried about all day – something I couldn’t sit down in, couldn’t enjoy myself in and most importantly couldn’t eat in! I felt amazing all day.
