Your Sussex Wedding - February/March 2022 (Issue 95)

The ceremony area was decorated with a faux blossom tree arch at the end of the aisle. This was later relocated to frame the top table. The ceremony was also styled with white lanterns lining the aisle and gypsophila tied to every other chair. In the main barn, we decorated with blossom tress, a faux greenery chandelier and a large greenery heart on the back wall, all supplied by To Have and To Hire Events. The centrepieces featured white hydrangeas, eucalyptus and gypsophila based on round mirrors, and surrounded by gold and glass tea lights, plus one scented candle. The tablescapes included gorgeous gold cutlery, gold beaded chargers and gold-rimmed glasses. Our favours were miniature bottles of Whitley pink gin, labelled “Let the evening be-gin.” Our three-tier naked cake was dressed with white flowers and small gold and taupe details. The top tier was gluten free with strawberry jam filling, the second was lemon curd and the bottom salted caramel. It was topped with a gold love heart complete with our initials and covered in faux eucalyptus. 38
