Your Midlands Wedding - August/September 2026 (Issue 105)

Laura wore Ariamo. It was the first one she tried on and she instantly fell in love with it. “I knew it was the one the whole time, even as I went to my other three bridal appointments,” she remembers. “I must have tried on around 30 other dresses but none of them compared.” Kieron chose a slate-coloured Cavani suit with matching jacket, waistcoat and trousers. He paired it with a white shirt and black tie to complement the theme. His groomsmen were all dressed to match him. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids looked super-chic in their black, halter-neck dresses. There was plenty to keep guests entertained throughout the day and evening, ensuring there was never a lull. Singer JayRar performed throughout the ceremony and drinks reception, while magician Jordan Maycock was on hand to wow guests. “Everyone said how amazing he was,” Laura says. Jordan also acted as toastmaster. In the evening, there was a photo booth, which proved a huge hit all round. We asked Laura for her most memorable moment: “Definitely walking down the aisle,” she shares. “I remember the feeling of being behind the curtain just moments before, holding my dad’s hand. The curtain opened and our song was sung beautifully by JayRar. Walking down the aisle and seeing Kieron, it was as if it was just the two of us in the room. Seeing how emotional he was and knowing we were just about to be married was the best feeling and one I’ll never forget.” REAL WEDDINGS 47
