The Oak Room was the perfect setting for the reception, with 13 round tables and a top table. Flowers were an essential part of the day, and the couple opted for the venue’s in-house décor package. Chelsea shares, “I fell in love with the florals featured in the Oak Room, so we opted for a full floral wedding with bouquets and buttonholes from Libbys of Chesterfield to match.” There were many speeches throughout the evening, with words that the couple will always treasure. Josh’s speech meant the world to Chelsea, and Matty Haynes added a memorable musical touch to the afternoon. The cake featured a simple design with white textures, florals to match the Oak Room, and included Josh’s parents’ cake topper. Flavours included Victoria sponge, chocolate and lemon - all going down a treat with loved ones! THE BRIDAL LOOK The bride looked effortless in an Enzoani gown, altered by the talented Alexey Morozov, who brought the look to life. “My first seamstress dropped out at the last minute, so Alexey took over,” comments Chelsea. “His workshop is beautiful, and I cannot recommend him enough to all future brides.” The dress featured a long train with champagne lace and a low-cut back, finished with a veil. Chelsea adds, “Josh sadly lost his mum prior to the wedding, so I had a brooch attached to my bouquet and one for the groom’s buttonhole, featuring a photograph of his parents on their wedding day.” The groom looked dapper in a tuxedo that matched the groomsmen, while the bridesmaids wore stone-coloured gowns for a timeless feel. PERSONAL TOUCHES The day was full of standout touches and memorable details. A reserved seat at the ceremony honoured Josh’s mum, complete with her wedding handbag and a rose as a special tribute, before everyone moved to the Oak Room. Garden games kept the children entertained, while Jordan Maycock Magician delighted guests and served as the day’s host. The couple also shared a QR code so guests could upload and share their special moments for everyone to enjoy. One funny moment came when a guest couldn’t resist joining in with the singer, adding a spontaneous laugh to the day.
