After Josh sold Chelsea her very first car, it wasn’t just a transaction - it was the start of a story that would span more than a decade. These lovebirds quickly became inseparable! After ten beautiful years together, the couple took the next step and became engaged with a proposal at the Eiffel Tower in the city of love. From there, they worked together to bring their dream wedding to life, and what better location than the Peak District? SETTING THE SCENE The Peak Edge Hotel, an independently owned fourstar property nestled on the edge of Derbyshire’s Peak District National Park, provided the perfect setting for the big day. “Growing up, I’ve always loved the venue and dreamt of getting married there,” says Chelsea. “I never thought it could get any better, but the renovations have made it even more magical. The accommodation drew us to this venue, allowing guests to stay over or easily get local taxis home. I grew up with horses, so I’ve always loved the countryside, and the Peak Edge Hotel felt like the perfect venue with its beautiful spaces.” The couple created a timeless day that matched the venue’s classic yet modern styling. After making a grand entrance via helicopter, they were thrilled that the weather held out for an outdoor ceremony surrounded by nature and loved ones. The views added an extra-special touch! Chelsea walked down the aisle to In Case You Didn’t Know by Brett Young, a song that reflected the moment perfectly. “Just after the ceremony, when the nerves had gone and we could finally relax with our guests, we walked back up the aisle and did a big cheer, arms in the air to celebrate,” she recalls. 36
