Your Kent Wedding - January/February 2024 (Issue 112)

As soon as we woke up and the sun was shining we knew it was going to be a great day. We were very chilled and were more than happy to go with the flow and didn’t really fixate on timings as I knew it would just stress us out. We were both excited and a little overwhelmed, but so happy to be surrounded by our favourite people for the day. They were incredible, we still talk about how great they were. I walked down the aisle to the Jurassic Park theme tune, and everyone was so happy and shocked. During the ceremony they played songs by the Foo Fighters and Beatles which was just great and very us. The Ratzkins played after the meal – it was great, everyone was socialising after a few wines. We then had The Boombox for the evening, they created a great atmosphere. We started with Sum 41 Fat Lip which everyone went wild for and finished the evening with Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now. I actually booked the wedding car for the wrong day! Daniel from Mustang Hire Kent was very sweet though and came to the venue and took James and my dad for a spin around St Margarets after the ceremony. James is a massive Mustang fan, so to have a white convertible 1965 Mustang at the wedding was probably one of the highlights. James and Hannah, our photographers, were just amazing from the moment we booked them to discussing our final photos. They were so sweet and friendly, and made the day so easy for us both. For two people that hate having our photo taken, they really made us feel at ease. There was no pressure and they were totally guided by us and what we were comfortable with. Not only that, but they are a great laugh and so easy to get on with. 36
