Your East Midlands Wedding - December 2021/January 2022 (Issue 47)

We had disposable cameras so our guests could take snaps shots throughout the day. Our centrepieces included rose/beige table runners, glass candlestick holders and vases full of flowers. I had a relaxed-style bouquet with muted-toned ro ses to match our desert colour scheme. Our florist created smaller versions for my bridesmaids, while the junior bridesmaids and flowergirls had gold floral hoops. We used a wave design and an illustration we cre ated of Grangefields throughout our stationery. Our main wedding goal was to create an atmosphere that reflected our romantic theme. Cripps and Co announced a new venue called Gra ngefields being renovated in Derbyshire – the same county that James was bor n in! When we first looked around the property, it was a mud site with derelic t buildings and cow sheds. But we loved the company’s vision and trusted their sty le – it was amazing to see the transformation over time. 34
