From that moment on, they haven’t gone a single day without speaking – a slow beginning that quickly grew into something truly lasting. When it came to proposing, Tim had the perfect surprise planned. The couple were in California celebrating his 30th birthday, and Hannah had organised a sunset boat cruise complete with wine and a charcuterie board. Little did she know Tim had a surprise of his own. He proposed during the cruise before they celebrated their engagement in Newport Beach beneath a breathtaking sunset, made even more memorable by a rocket launch lighting up the evening sky. The couple tied the knot on 30th May 2026 at the beautiful Worstead Estate in Norfolk. “We visited several venues, but none gave us the warm feeling that Worstead Estate did,” says Hannah. “It was calm, beautiful and instantly felt like the perfect match for the atmosphere we wanted to create.” With family and friends travelling from across the globe, it was important to find somewhere everyone could relax and enjoy the celebrations together. The estate’s luxurious accommodation made it the ideal choice. Hannah and Tim chose a sophisticated black and white colour palette, creating a wedding that felt effortlessly elegant and timeless. Guests embraced the vision by dressing in black, while a stunning white Lotus Esprit provided a memorable finishing touch that made the day feel uniquely theirs. The styling reflected the couple’s personalities through understated black accents and meaningful personal details. Tim’s love of Oasis inspired playful touches throughout the day, including a tambourine entrance at breakfast inspired by Liam Gallagher’s iconic stage presence and a floating ‘Don’t Look Back in Hunger’ sign. Crisp white roses, floating candles and dramatic black and white draping throughout the venue created a striking yet classic aesthetic. A horseshoe-shaped floral floor arrangement framed the ceremony beautifully, creating a setting that was both elegant and tranquil. Hannah found her dream dress at Pure Brides – a timeless A-line gown that felt perfect from the moment she tried it on. “I knew it was the one straight away after trying so many different styles. It felt instinctively right – classic, elegant and exactly how I’d imagined my wedding dress.” The defining feature was a statement bow added to the back of the gown, which became the inspiration for many of the day’s styling details, including the wedding cake. Tim wore a classic black suit with personalised cufflinks gifted by Hannah, while his groomsmen and both fathers coordinated in matching black suits with elegant white buttonholes. The bridesmaids wore chic black satin dresses, each styling their hair to reflect their own personalities. They carried simple gypsophila bouquets, while matching gypsophila corsages ensured they still looked every inch the bridesmaids after their bouquets had been repurposed as part of the venue décor. Coordinating corsages for both mothers completed the elegant look. Guests enjoyed garden games during the drinks reception before being serenaded by singer Barney Holmes and harpist Zoe Anderton. As evening fell, saxophonist Alex Rimell brought incredible energy to the dancefloor before live band The Elevation kept everyone dancing well into the night. For Hannah and Tim, nothing compared to the ceremony itself. “We were both so nervous, but the moment we were together everything settled. The whole world seemed to go quiet. We forgot about the hundred guests watching and it felt as though it was just the two of us in the room... and our golden retriever Teddy, of course.” In addition, “Being announced as husband and wife brought a joy so pure that neither of us could put it into words. It was simply unforgettable.” The couple’s biggest piece of planning advice is simple but effective. “Choose one non-negotiable each. We decided very early on the one element that mattered most to each of us. I chose the florals, while Tim chose the food and wine. Once our priorities were set, every other decision became so much easier, and the day naturally evolved around what mattered most to us both.” REAL WEDDINGS 29
