Barefoot ON THE BEACH Amanda and Frank enjoyed a chilled ‘toes-in-the-sand’ wedding ceremony on Norfolk’s Bacton beach Images courtesy of Woodrow & Cook Photography When Amanda met Frank she was attending a driver awareness course with her friend Felicity, who introduced them both. “She knew him as a family friend and he worked at the centre as the driver training manager,” explains Amanda. They hit it off and the rest, as they say, is history! After three-and-a-half years together, Frank popped the question in front of a crowd at a Motown weekend at Gunton Hall in Lowestoft. “We were there with friends and during the evening he arranged with one of the performers to serenade me on stage while he snuck round the back. Then, as the song finished and I turned around, he got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone,” reveals Amanda. “The whole audience cheered when I said ‘yes’. It was very emotional and totally unexpected!” They tied the knot on Bacton Beach followed by a reception at the waterside Liberty Restaurant in Wroxham on 3rd July, 2021.
