It had just reopened and this was the first day restaurants were permitted to sit six people indoors.” “We had to change everything about our wedding, which was a little frustrating, but in the broad scheme of things, this was a small problem amid the troubles the world was experiencing. So, we just got on with it and made the best of things. We were sad not to have all of our loved ones there, but we’re planning a proper party for family and friends on our one-year anniversary. It means I get to wear my dress again, so that’s a bonus! “Our advice would be to go with the flow and try to be flexible. Decide what you really can’t compromise on and work around those elements. Try not to stress too much about the small details as ultimately they don’t really matter. It’s about the marriage and the love you have for each other. “Our friends made the day so special and they kept everything a secret until we shared the news with everyone else. Every single person who helped us pull the day together was exceptionally helpful.” 31 REAL WEDDINGS
