Your Bristol & Somerset Wedding - Page number 30 - October/November 2021 (Issue 85)

“When it came to choosing my wedding dress I was looking for something classic and pretty, without showing too much skin! I wore a lace Catherine Dean top, which I paired with a satin skirt from The Cotswold Frock Shop and a Pronovias crystal belt. The ivory hues all matched and the whole outfit came together well. “The groom opted for a laid-back, vintage glamour look. He was dressed in a burgundy velvet tux with matching bow tie and grey trousers. His best man wore a black tux, while my bridesmaid chose her own gown based on our burgundy colour palette. “Getting ready was special. We were relaxed about everything until we realised we were running late, then it all turned a bit Four Weddings and a Funeral !” “For my bouquet I chose ivory and burgundy tinted roses to complement Justin’s tux, along with some foliage. I left the florist some velvet ribbon sourced from Guildhall market and they made me a beautiful hand-tied posy.” 30
