Daisy is a beautifully restored 1972 Bedford CF ice cream van and is available to hire in Surrey, bringing with her a freezer full of delicious Marshfield Farm hand-scooped ice cream and vegan sorbets and quality ice lollies for you and your guests.

Home-baked cakes and afternoon tea are also available, served on vintage china, giving you a full dessert option – street food with style! What's more the gorgeous van will make for photo opportunities abound - creating the perfect memories.

Owner Wendy shares her inspiration...

"I was on a mission, I have always loved afternoon tea, vintage china, cake, baking, sandwiches, upcycled furniture, bunting, flowers, pretty tablecloths, old kitchenalia; and giving great customer service. I wanted to open a tearoom, but we all know how that was likely to pan out with high street rents and rates ever increasing and the doom and gloom of retail businesses failing.

"I set to whiling away the hours on Google, thinking perhaps I could convert a camper van and deliver afternoon teas to people's homes for their celebrations and parties. In so doing, I found Daisy, and being a carpe diem kind of a girl, decided to seriously consider buying her with some of my pension fund. Six weeks later, Daisy was mine.


"I continued working at my day job, and slowly built the business up. It was certainly tricky, as I had been working most weekends already, which is of course when ice cream bookings tend to come. I then broke my foot whilst on holiday in Spain, so that scuppered the rest of the summer and I had to cancel a number of bookings. Luckily my brother in law was able to drive Daisy to Cobham Heritage Day and an evening wedding so that I could serve, hobbling around in my boot, which no-one could see!


"2018 was a great summer for ice cream and I so enjoyed the variety of bookings from folk festivals, to steam fairs, and school fairs and prom nights to beautiful weddings. So much so, that 2019 will be fully focused on Daisy and I have quit the day job... "
