New cars and award win from Arrow Vintage Cars

One of our Signature Wedding Show Brentwood Centre exhibitors Arrow Vintage Cars has some exciting news.

Standford le Hope-based Arrow Vintage Cars has added to its feet offering more for couples looking to tie the knot in the area.

Owner Carl adds, "Our 1965 Triumph Herald 12/50 nicknamed 'Elsie' was restored by us mainly for film and TV work. No sooner was she finished; a couple fell in love with her and she provided their wedding transport and proved a big hit with both guests and passers by alike. "Judged by the toots and waves from passing motorists and wedding car fans - she has now been added to the Wedding car Collection here in Essex!"

The second new vehicle is a second 1981 Daimler DS420 Limousine. "This one is also in our famous Olde English White," adds Carl. "but has a beautiful champagne/copper colour across the top which looks stunning in the sun! The interior is a luxurious deep chocolate leather with seating for up to seven passengers."

Also a recent purchase, a 1999 Volvo S90 Nillson 8-Passenger Coachbuilt Limousine, built by Nillson coachbuilders in Norway, (probably one of only five or six surviving). It has lived all of its life in Norfolk and owned by Norfolk County Council as a dignitaries and VIP Limousine vehicle. It arrived with Arrow Vintage Cars a couple of months back and is now being restored by the team.

"Another rare survivor, we also have a 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible," shares Carl. "She'll be finished in Cadillac "Mountain Laurel" (very pale dusky pink) with a white leather interior and white power operated convertible roof. She will be ready for the coming season and we are looking forward to seeing her out and about on the roads of Essex."

If the new additions to its fleet of cars wasn't exciting enough, the team behind Arrow Vintage Cars are also celebrating an award win: Essex Wedding Awards 2019 Winners!

Carl says, "We've just had the honour of winning "Best Wedding Transport" in the form of the Most Stylish Arrival Award at the distinguished Essex Wedding Awards. "It's the first award we've ever been entered for and we were up against a lot of competition - but the judges, and our reviews, shone through and we were selected the winners! It feels amazing, and its such an honour. "Thank you to everyone for voting and leaving such lovely five-star reviews of our service across all of our medias. Means so much to us!"
