Abbie and Darren celebrated their nuptials with a vintage-blue and pink colour palette.

Abbie Louise Hurcomb, 26, married Darren Craig Andrews, 27, at How Caple Court on 2nd September, 2017.

Darren opted for a grey three-piece suit he brought from Moss Bros. The back of the waistcoat was a light blue hue, which fit in with the colour scheme of our day and a matching tie. The groomsmen all had the same shoes but Darren treated himself to a new pair of Ted Baker ones to stand out.

Rustic romance: Image 2aI had no idea what style of gown I wanted, but loved Justin Alexander's 8822 design. I adored the train, vintage pattern, the lace and the bit of glitter and every time I moved I noticed something different I liked. I accessorised with a Tiffany & Co pearl bracelet, which was a gift from Darren, and a pair of pearl and diamond earrings brought by my mum.

Rustic romance: Image 2 How Caple Court has a bit of everything; the grounds are beautiful, the church is next to the court and the main house sets the scene for the reception.

The 'maids all worse a multiway wrap dress in a light blue shade. It was easy to pick this dress as they could all wear it in whichever style they wished as I just wanted them to be comfortable for the day – they were the best bridesmaids I could have wished for!!

Rustic romance: Image 4aWe used a big pallet painted blue with pink bunting for our table plan. This had Disney characters on as we both love the studio and even went to Florida for our honeymoon.

Rustic romance: Image 4 We wanted our flowers to look like they had just been picked out of a field, so opted for rustic pinks, whites and blues tones to achieve this.

We had a piece of wood in the middle of the tables boasting jars of pretty blooms and tea lights and a picture frame with a Disney character on.

Rustic romance: Image 6aWe were also surprised with a personalised video from Daniel Radcliffe, which was my highlight.

Rustic romance: Image 6 Darren's mum made our three-tiered fruit, Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle cake. It was iced white and decorated with simple flowers cascading down one side.

Our photographer Gemma captured the most perfect moments and we couldn't have asked for better wedding photos – we love looking back through them and reliving the day.
