Something old, something borrowed...

Hannah Louise Morgan, 32, and Kyle Sherwood 36, tied the knot at Hexton Manor, Hexton, on 4th June, 2010

Hannah met Kyle at a nightclub when she was 17 and he was 21. “I cut my foot on some broken glass on the dancefloor and Kyle helped to give me first aid. He then offered to walk my friend and I home. We shared a kiss and he gave me his number but I didn't call back. Five years later we met again and I was very attracted to his personality and handsome good looks,” says Hannah. Here, she tell us more about their shabby-chic themed wedding ...

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 1aOur flowergirls wore long white tulle dresses with sequins.

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 1 We both fell in love with Hexton Manor – the ceremony hall was amazing. The décor really suited our well-worn theme.

Our car was a Silver Lady Bentley dating back to the Earl's Court Motor Show in 1956. Only five of these cars were ever made, making it a real talking point.

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 3aMy bridesmaids wore plum knee-length satin dresses with gold shoes to match our wedding stationery.

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 3 For our centrepieces we had candelabra and teacups filled with roses, peonies and gypsophila.

Rather than individual favours, we had a sweet table with a selection of candy jars, bowls of lollipops and traditional pink striped paper bags so guests could help themselves throughout the day.

“My dress from The White Wardrobe was tulle and lace over satin with a puddle train and tulle straps.”

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 6 We decorated our tables with birdcages, lace, dried rose petals and strings of pearls to tie in with our theme.

Kyle wore a grey suit with an open-neck shirt as he wanted the day to have a relaxed feel. His best men also wore darker suits with the option of wearing open-neck shirts. Kyle's buttonhole was lily of the valley to match the flowers in my hair.

We popped a framed photo on each table labelled with a song linked to New York, which was one of our honeymoon destinations.

My bouquet was made up of single and spray roses with lily of the valley and lace.

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 10aOur cake was made from local cheeses and decorated with sugar mice. We served it with bread, homemade pickles and chutneys.

Something old, something borrowed...: Image 10 After our wedding we travelled to New York for five days, before flying back to the UK and then on to Sorrento, Italy for a week.

As part of our evening entertainment we had a photobooth session
