Excitement, love and laughter filled the air throughout Anna and Rich's celebrations.

Anna Conroy, 29, married Richard Powell, 36, at The West Mill, on 22nd March, 2019.

California dreamin' at The West Mill: Image 1 I always knew that I wanted a lace dress and it's exactly what I chose. It was a high-neck fit and flare Pronovias gown. As soon as I put it on I knew it was the one.

I opted for natural make-up and an elegant up do and accessorised with a veil and hair vine, a rhinestone bracelet and pearl drop earrings. I wore T-bar shoes and switched to sequined Converse for the evening.

Rich and his groomsmen wore a dark navy suit. Rich finished his look with a grey waistcoat, navy tie, patterned pocket square and wore his granddad's pocket watch.

Our bridesmaids wore dusky pink Grecian-style floor length dresses that looked stunning.

We opted for eucalyptus, ivy, herbs and simple white and dusky pink flowers for my bouquet and astrantia, veronica and eryngium throughout the venue.

California dreamin' at The West Mill: Image 4 We both really loved the industrial feel of The West Mill. It's great that they've retained so many original features including the exposed brickwork and cast iron beams.

We used lots of foliage in our centrepieces that were surrounded by gold pillar candle holders, geometric tealight holders and a simple gold vase.

We had simple calligraphy signage in the venue.

California dreamin' at The West Mill: Image 6 The peg boards for the drink's menu and order of the day really suited the look of the surroundings.

We kept the styling very simple with lots of white candles and foliage.

For our favours we gave the men a bottle of Modelo lager with a key bottle opener on the name tag our drink of choice in California and Lindt chocolates for the ladies.

California dreamin' at The West Mill: Image 8 Our tables were named after places that we visited on our America road trip. We collected vintage postcards and used bulldog clips and a mesh planter panel sprayed gold to display them.

We always had our hearts set on a cake of cheese and it went down a treat in the evening!

For the ceremony and reception we had a pianist and in the evening a band played and DJ'd for us in-between. We had a real indie disco vibe for the live music.

California dreamin' at The West Mill: Image 10 When I arrived at the venue I was a bundle of nervous excitement but I calmed down as soon as we were standing together for the vows. I've never smiled and laughed so much it was the happiest day of my life.
