brought to life in the shape of his three-piece suit with champagne check and a paisley tie and pocket square. He also wore a hidden touch beneath the breast of his jacket – a robin pin. This was a nod to his late grandfather who he was very close to and sadly passed away. The groomsmen meanwhile kept it simple with classic navy suits and champagne ties. The bridesmaids wore champagne chiffon dresses of different styles to suit their individual preferences, since it was important to Paige that they all felt comfortable. The mother-of-the-bride served as maid-of-honour and Paige wanted her to feel special, so she wore a gorgeous blush pink and ivory floral dress. “She looked breathtakingly beautiful,” the bride says. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Since the wedding was so intimate the couple decided to keep their entertainment understated and elegant opting for plenty of drinks and nibbles throughout the day with his and hers speciality cocktails. These were the bride and groom’s favourite tipples: frozen pina colada for Paige and mojitos for Jordan. As music is so important to them, they hired a beautiful string quartet to play during the ceremony and drinks reception. The bride walked down the aisle to a gorgeous rendition of I See The Light from Tangled. The musicians then performed a selection of the newlyweds’ favourite songs in the garden following the “I dos.” “They were absolutely wonderful and we wish they could have stayed the entire day,” Paige tells us. “It really added to the royal celebration we’d envisioned.” The couple also hired a DJ for the evening reception who played a variety of requested tracks from pop punk to Disney tunes ensuring the dancefloor was never empty. They then surprised guests with a huge firework display in front of the Castle, put together by Optimum Fireworks. “It was the perfect end to a magical day, just like the end of a day in a Disney park with fireworks above the castle,” Paige shares. MEMORABLE MOMENTS “We were so excited and overwhelmed with love and joy,” Paige remembers. “We’re not social animals generally, but we managed to make the most of it to the end before collapsing on the bed exhausted! “Jordan was a little nervous at first but soon warmed up enough to show his best moves on the dancefloor! I was relaxed from the get-go though, laying on the chaise lounge in the bridal suite in a dramatic bridal dressing gown, full of glam by 8am, sipping Champagne and dancing to Cuban Pete!” In fact, her bridesmaids shared this vibe, joining the bride in singing High School Musical tunes at the top of their lungs, not realising the guests and groom’s party below could hear them. “Just a little pre-wedding entertainment for them,” Paige laughs. The couple knew their venue had a quirky accessible toilet setup in the form of two toilets in one room with no separators. “We found this hilarious and managed to get a funny shot of us both sat in our wedding attire on each loo. This one will definitely be printed and hung in our downstairs bathroom,” Paige says. The work of their photographer and videographer stood out for the newlyweds. “Not only did they both agree to stay later than usual due to the fireworks, but their professionalism, experience, friendliness and general banter made us feel so comfortable and meant they fit in like one of the wedding party. It was an absolute honour to have Kirsty and Louie spend the day with us and capture every ounce of love from start to finish. Their work is exceptional, and we can’t thank them enough.” COME FLY WITH ME Two days after the wedding, the newlyweds jetted off to Crete on honeymoon, where they spent two weeks at an adult-only, all-inclusive resort set on a beautiful cliff edge with a private pool. “Seaside A Lifestyle Resort spoiled us from start to finish,” Paige says. “We had flowers, balloons and champagne on arrival, room upgrades, and were even gifted a weekend stay at sister hotel Acro Suites. We spent the full two weeks relaxing and enjoying each other’s company, soaking up the wedding bubble as much as we could.” 27 REAL WEDDINGS
