STORTHES HALL PARK 01484 270 154 | www.stortheshall.co.uk What can you expect? Storthes Hall Park is found in the lovely rolling fields of Huddersfield. With its gorgeous scenery and canopy of trees, it sets the scene for big-day celebrations. The decking and outdoor seating allows you to relax at the front of the venue, while the outdoor area at the back caters for marquees, tipis and inflatables. Built in 1904, the Edwardian architecture and stone walls transport you back in time. The interiors have a modern and quirky atmosphere with edgy lighting, modern seating and individual break-out spaces including a cinema, ping-pong room, games rooms and a spacious dancefloor. There’s also a large cinema sign that can be personalised for couples. The upstairs boasts a more formal setting with plenty of natural light. Time to celebrate! The Highburton Suite (110 guests) is licensed for ceremonies and features black-and-white checked flooring, high ceilings and a fully glazed wall. Receptions can be held in the Farnley area (120 guests), which is a cosy space with picturesque views. Alternatively, the Club Room is the perfect party space with its spacious dancefloor, built-in lighting system and DJ booth. Overall, the venue can hold up to 400 loved ones. We love... The old-fashioned cinema room that can be used to entertain the kids or screen home videos. MANOR HOUSE LINDLEY 01484 504 000 | www.manorhouselindley.co.uk What can you expect? The landscaped grounds of this stunning manor contain elegant fountains, leafy trees and a perfect view of the famous Lindley Clock Tower. Arriving up the sweeping driveway, guests first glimpse the venue’s dramatic façade with its sand-coloured stone and imposing columns emphasising its heritage. To one side, a sunny terrace entices and between the buildings a courtyard gives a distinctly Roman feel. The breathtaking interiors have been painstakingly designed and executed, with the look inspired by the Far East with contemporary touches and a high-end vibe. Time to celebrate! A number of areas are licensed for ceremonies and are also available for receptions. The pièce de résistance is The Coach House (160 ceremony guests and 200 evening guests). A designated wedding space, its vaulted ceiling and stained glass are combined with an opulent bar and carved paneling. More intimate gatherings can be held in The Lantern Room, or for a quirkier option, the Lindley Cellars channels the prohibition era of dark and intriguing dens hidden from plain sight. The smallest of nuptials can be held in the Hall Bedroom for up to 8 people. We love... Various packages are available and can include options such as free overnight accommodation and menu tastings. 16
