We had all the waistcoats altered so they had a silver back to match the bridesmaids’ multiway dresses. I told my best girls they could wrap the dresses however they wanted. They ended up wearing the same style in the day, then switched it up for the evening. We entertained our guests with garden games and a photo booth, which everyone loved. Both the adults and the children took full advantage of the sweet stand too. A DJ kept the night flowing brilliantly, and we supplied flip flops so there were no excuses not to be on the dancefloor! When my dad walked me down the aisle, I was overcome with emotion and couldn’t stop crying. Sean says he was anxious in the morning, but that soon disappeared when he saw me. A highlight has to be our first dance; we were dreading it because we hadn’t practiced anything, but when the time came it was so natural and fun. Bridget’s top tip: It’s easy to worry about the little things, but on the day nothing matters other than marrying your number one. 30
