Your Yorkshire Wedding - July/August 2020 (Issue 43)

MEET ALICE WILSON OF LITTLE WOLD VINEYARD Tell us about your company… At Little Wold Vineyard, we work with you to create a truly bespoke wedding in our pole marquee and glass-fronted Tasting Room. Our main ambition is to ensure that you and up to 130 loved ones can share an unforgettable experience in a magical setting, creating life-long memories. We can help with all aspects of planning, and our trusty Little Book of Besties is jam-packed with all the contacts you might need. What do you get asked most by couples? We often get asked whether couples can have live music, and the answer is absolutely! The space is exclusively yours to enjoy. What’s your top wedding tip? Work with suppliers who have worked in an outdoor setting before. There are a lot of moving parts such as electricity and water supply, toilets, staffing etc. so having someone with experience will ensure it runs without a hitch. What’s the best thing about getting married al fresco? The sky is the limit! Outdoor venues tend to be more flexible and can accommodate different catering ideas, decor, time tables and more. Visit www.littlewoldvineyard.co.uk https://mandgweddingphotography.co.uk Tell us about your company… Couples can create their own venue at their chosen location with our range of gorgeous yurts, traditional pole marquees and alternative stretch tents. We have a variety of sizes available for each structure, and our biggest can hold 400 friends and family. We offer a bespoke service to each of our couples, helping them bring their dreams to life. What do you get asked most by couples? Couples are keen to know how to decorate our yurts and marquees. Our structures are great for elevating your styling; you can hang anything from bunting and lighting to floristry, lanterns, ribbons and birdcages. Raising your decor up creates a showstopping backdrop. What’s your top wedding tip? Be prepared for wet weather – we live in the UK after all! Make sure there’s plenty of space inside your structure for all your guests, as the one thing we can’t guarantee is sunshine. Also, make sure your site is well drained and sheltered. What’s the best thing about getting married al fresco? It’s the perfect opportunity to break away from tradition. Go for food trucks rather than a sit-down meal, host your own funfair, create a festival or opt for sack races and axe-throwing for entertainment.
