87 REGIONAL SHOOT Fall for exquisite styling and elegant touches in this collaborative shoot Images courtesy of Jane Beadnell Photography P ulling together some of the most talented wedding suppliers in Yorkshire, Jen Sawdon- Mckay of My Pretties UK achieved the most stunning set of timeless images. “I wanted to create a high-end vibe,” Jen tells us. “Although I wanted a classic look, it still had to be heavily design-led and eye-catching, which is why I chose to incorporate the yellow palette. All signs are pointing to this being the it colour for 2019 and 2020 weddings.” Jen chose York House at The Talbot in Malton as the setting, and asked Jane Beadnell Photography to capture the day. “Jane has a soft and romantic editing style,” Jen explains. “When I saw the photos, I couldn’t believe how much it looked like a destination wedding. It looks like we spent the day in Italy!” Take inspiration from these gloriously summery images… OF BRITISH Be inspired by the classic drama Downton Abbey for a quintessentially English wedding Images courtesy of Littles and Loves Photography S hoot coordinator Jen Sawdon- Mckay of My Pretties UK is a fan of the British series, so when the feature-length film came out, she decided to organise a photo shoot as a love letter to all things Downton Abbey . “Nothing about this shoot is ostentatious; it’s timeless and classically English,” Jen tells us. “I’m getting asked more and more for blue colour schemes, and I knew that it would blend seamlessly with the other elements of the shoot.” The Hawkhills was the perfect setting for this theme and really captured the essence of Downton Abbey .
