Your Yorkshire Wedding - November/December 2019 (Issue 39)

Our favours were little personalised macarons, which doubled up brilliantly as place settings. I loved our table plan; the names were written in rose gold foil on white card and mounted on a gorgeous mirror. Our cake had four tiers, each a different delicious flavour: Ferrero Rocher, Cherry Bakewell, forest fruits and strawberries and cream. We chose a timeless palette of blush pink and gold. Our centrepieces were tall candelabra with stunning flowers draped over them. There were also rose gold runners, jars filled with floating candles and pretty spray flowers to match my bouquet. I grew up just down the road from the venue, and we always knew it was where we’d tie the knot. A big reason was because it’s local for both our families, and we loved the fact that we could have our ceremony outside in the Pavilion. Laura’s top tip: Take time together on the day to talk and take it all in. These are the special moments you will remember. 40
