This iconic city-centre gem is situated next to the idyllic Peace Gardens and in front of Sheffield’s Winter Garden. Built in 1897, the Grade I listed building is steeped in history and provides an incredible backdrop to weddings with its clock tower, detailed carvings and showstopping fountains. The interiors are just as breathtaking, with guests being welcomed by beautiful archways, a grand staircase and stunning stained-glass windows. TIME TO CELEBRATE! Couples tie the knot in the Mirror Room overlooked by an impressive minstels’ gallery or the Mandela Room with its rich panelled walls (120 guests each). For larger parties, the full Reception Suite (220 guests) can be utilised by lifting the oak dividing screen. After saying “I do,” couples can celebrate in the Silver Room (150 guests). Featuring grand oak pillars and cabinets of civic silver, it’s a fantastic reception setting.
